Indian Springs Campground

We left Charlotte, MI on Saturday October 9 at 11:30 with Acey’s mileage at 77,759.9, Thor has 93,128 and we have 1,451miles on our bicycles. We drove back into Indiana – Acey had been in Michigan for over 2 months!

We arrived at Indian Springs Campground in Garrett, Indiana at 1:30. We made lunch and got settled in – then went to go visit Jim’s nephew Sean and his 4 adorable daughters. The 2 younger daughters we had not met yet – other than seeing Sean in Nashville in April, it had been quite some time since we had seen him. Sean is the director of maintenance for an aviation company in Fort Wayne, and he took us to the airport to see where he works. We checked out one of the airplanes being worked on.

Zuzu rather liked the chopper

Sweet operates a flight school here too.

This little one-person copter was buzzing around the airport.

We went back to Sean’s place and had a fun evening of pizza and played “Ticket to Ride” – the Great Lakes version. Sean was the big winner and Linda lost… no photos. In the morning, we met up with the family at Harvest Fellowship Church.

They baptized several believers and had a church picnic after the service. We drove out to the campground so they could see Acey, and soon it was time to say goodbye. After dinner, we Zoomed with the family. Today is Chuck’s 38th Birthday, and he enjoyed a long weekend in Colorado – hiking and enjoying the beauty there!

If you look closely, you can see the golden leaves of the Aspens welcoming autumn!

We made some preparations to leave in the morning.
